Traveller accounts
If you create an account, we store your display name, email, password hash, optional phone/country, account timestamps and the items you save. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not readable passwords.
Quote requests
If you request safari options, we store the contact and trip-planning details you submit so the request can be reviewed and followed up. Requests submitted while signed in are linked to your traveller account. Relevant trip details may be shared with selected safari operators when necessary to prepare the options you requested.
Private quote tracking
A quote request may receive a long random tracking link. The status page intentionally omits your email and phone, but anyone who obtains the link could see the non-contact trip summary and quote options, so keep it private.
Saved items and matcher preferences
Saved safaris, destinations, accommodations and operators are attached to your traveller account. The trip matcher still does not save its preference inputs to your account.
Traveller reviews
Review submissions are stored privately first with their moderation and verification status. Only reviews that are both verified and approved for publication appear publicly. If you delete your traveller account, your saved items and review submissions are deleted with it.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete a traveller account from account settings. Quote enquiries may be retained as business and service records but are detached from the deleted account.
Cookies
A necessary session cookie supports secure administration and signed-in traveller accounts. Analytics, advertising or additional tracking technologies should be disclosed here when enabled in production.
